They say time flies when you’re having fun and I couldn’t agree more. Myself and my husband celebrated our first wedding anniversary in March and what a year it’s been! We had already visited Vegas previously and fallen in love with it. Last year, on our tenth year together we jumped on a plane to Vegas, got married under moons and stars in a pink cadillac car and then travelled on to Palm Springs and L.A. We had the most incredible trip of all time and the wedding day itself was just magical. Although it all feels like a dream, we have our beautiful wedding photos to look at and keep forever.
I guess you could say Dan and I are not a fan of being in front of the camera, in fact I hate it! I think I’m very un-photogenic usually and quite frankly didn’t know how it would be on our big day. However I knew I wanted to have images I could look back on forever and would regret it if we didn’t arrange a professional photographer.
I stumbled across Deidra Wilson on RocknRollbride.com and discovered that Deidra offers a 2 hour wedding photoshoot. As it was an intimate wedding of just us I thought this was the perfect fit, as I felt we didn’t need more time. After emailing Deidra and having a lovely conversation with her on the phone, we booked in the time and date and it couldn’t have been any smoother.
Super friendly and funny, Deidra was just amazing at making us feel relaxed. We felt totally at ease and had so much fun! Both of us were shocked at how enjoyable the two hours were and couldn’t believe how fast the time went.
No location was a problem to travel to, as we started at A Little White Chapel, headed to the colourful graffiti walls of the Arts District then went on to the Neon Museum for more photos. Uber really came in handy here and this really didn’t take much time to order the car and drive from points A to B!
The amazing graffiti back drops made a fun and bright backdrop. Here are some more photos that we love from our wedding day…
If you’re looking for an incredible location for wedding photos or to get married at, the Neon Museum has old original Las Vegas neon signs that look simply stunning! The Neon Museum Boneyard and the adjacent North Gallery are available for both photo and video shoots to hire for your big day.
The Neon Museum is a fabulous wedding venue, perfect for those couples searching for an unforgettable Las Vegas venue with both a vintage and a modern twist.
We had an awesome day and were thrilled that we chose Deidra to be our witness, photographer and only guest! It was an amazing experience and the two hour session was perfect for us. Head over to Deidra’s website to check out all of her options, including boudoir shoots which your wife or husband to be will love!
